Kenneth Alan Hinnant

Kenneth Alan Hinnant, 63, of Wilson, passed away Thursday. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Buckhorn United Methodist Church, 8102 NC-42, Kenly. Rev. Carol Dean will officiate. Interment will follow in Buckhorn United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Kenneth will be dearly missed by all who were lucky enough to know and love him. He was a staple of the Buckhorn community. Kenneth was a family farmer who also worked closely with the North Carolina Department of Agriculture for fourteen years.

Kenneth is survived by his sons, Spencer Hinnant and wife, Jordan of Kenly, Scott Hinnant and wife, Margaret of Lucama; grandchildren, Bailey Hinnant, Kelsey Hinnant, Ella Hinnant and Henry Hinnant; brothers, David Hinnant and wife, Vickie of Kenly and Steven G. Hinnant of Kenly.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Smith Hinnant; parents, Jennings and Joanne Hinnant; brothers, Joe Hinnant and Tommy Hinnant and his first wife, Rose Hinnant.
