Kenneth "Kent" Glenn Etheridge, Jr.

Kenneth Glenn Etheridge, Jr. January 13, 1989 – June 11, 2021 Kenneth “Kent” Glenn Etheridge, Jr., 32 of Wilson passed away Friday. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 – 9 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Kent loved any animal, playing baseball, hunting, fishing, and any outdoor activity. Kent is survived by his mother, Mena Jo Williams and Tony Pulley; father, Ken “Squirmy” Etheridge and wife, Vicki; daughter, Carter Grace Etheridge and her mother, Haley Carter; son, Weston Etheridge and his mother, Anna and Hunter Barnes; maternal grandmother, Barbara Jean Williams; girlfriend, Kaitlyn Pollard; step-sisters, Penny Staton of Wilson, and Kristy Starling and husband, Doug; several aunts, uncles cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends, and his special companion dog, Millie. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Alvis and Beulah Hayes Etheridge; maternal grandfather, Alvin Williams, and his maternal great-grandmother, Lucinda Brewer.
