Kenneth Smith, 85, of Wilson passed away Friday.  A funeral service will be conducted 6 p.m. Sunday at Joyner’s Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Monday in Buckhorn Cemetery, Kenly.  The Rev. Tony Hawley will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday evening immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at the home. Kenneth was a loving husband, father and pa that will be greatly missed and thought of often. Kenneth is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Lois Marie Smith of the home; his daughters, Diane Myrick and husband, Jack of Kenly, Vickie Bryant and husband, Phil of Zebulon, Fay Davis and husband, Steve of Sims, and Connie Viverette and husband, Dusty of Wilson; his sons, Danny Smith and wife, Jennifer of Kenly and Ronnie Smith and wife Shara of Wilson; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sons, Timmy Smith and Patrick Smith and his parents, Al and Nancy Raper Smith. Condolences may be directed to www.joyners.net.
