Kenny Dwayne Joyner June 7, 1971 – December 5, 2020 Kenny Dwayne Joyner, 49 of Wilson passed away Saturday. His funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Joe Shakour will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening immediately following the service til 9 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Kenny loved shooting pool with his son and friends, loved Nascar; especially, Dale Earnhardt, the Carolina Tarheels, and the Carolina Panthers. Kenny loved his family and friends to his fullest. He will be greatly missed and thought of often with wonderful memories. Kenny is survived by his loving wife, Christie Hinton Joyner; sons, Justin Dwayne Joyner and Emily, Cameron Blake Joyner and Carlynn; daughters, Madison Breanne Joyner, and Kennadee Rosalyn Joyner; parents, Wayne and Ethel Joyner; sister, Kim Evans and husband, Alan; brother, Alan Joyner and wife, Michelle; nieces, Kimberlyn Evans, Katherine Joyner and Avada Driver; nephews, Thomas Evans and Brayden Joyner and Mary Lou Ellis, who was like a second mother. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Elwood and Virginia Joyner; his maternal grandmother, Addie Crowder and maternal grandfather, Hubert Bunn.
