Larry Randolph Byrd May 9, 1948 – January 11, 2015 Larry Randolph Byrd, 66, of Sims passed away Sunday. His memorial service will be conducted 7 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. The Rev. Scott Barnes will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. Larry is survived by his wife of forty years, Mary Etta Bradshaw Byrd of the home; his daughters, Brandy Byrd Barnes and husband, Michael Todd of Bailey and BriAnne Byrd Lopez and husband, Brian Allen of Sims; his grandchildren, Makenna Larryn Barnes and Brooke Ashtyn Ward; his brothers, Kenneth Rex Byrd and wife, Nellie of Sims and Erick Tilghman Byrd and wife, Becky of Sims and his brother-in-law, Harold Coleman of Raleigh. He was preceded in death by his parents, Randolph and Mabel Deans Byrd and his sister, Brenda Byrd Coleman.
