Larry Wayne Poole

Larry Wayne Poole November 14, 1950 – July 10, 2021 Larry Wayne Poole, 70 of Elm City passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 10, 2021. Larry proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a combat engineer in Vietnam. He also had a great interest in automobile mechanics and worked in that field for many years. He is survived by his daughter, Amber Shingleton and husband, Jon of Elm City and former spouse, Jewel Hamilton of Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Frances Poole, and brother, David Poole. A private graveside service with military honors will be held Thursday, July 15, 2021 in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. Condolences directed to Joyner’s Funeral Home and Crematory at www.joyners.net.
