Lassie Ruth Durham

Lassie Ruth Durham July 17, 1935 – September 24, 2019 Lassie Ruth Durham, 84, of Wilson passed away Tuesday.  Her funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will be private. The Rev. Mark Harrell and Rev. Ray Barnhill will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday following the service Thursday evening till 8:30 p.m.  at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Ruth worked at The Rib Room for thirty years until it closed and then she was a greeter at Walmart for fifteen years. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Vickie Dianne Durham and Leon of Pine Level and Betty Durham Murphy and husband, Howard of Wilson; granddaughter, Catherine Durham Murphy and Matthew of Tarboro; great-grandchild, Charlotte Sophia Hux of Tarboro; sisters, Grace Lamm of Wilson and Louise Wiggs and husband, Bill of Pine Level; brothers, Lonnie Taylor and wife, Florence of Raleigh, Donnie Keen and wife, Ann of Wilson and Lester  Keen and wife, Brenda of Oklahoma and Leslie Keen of Rock Ridge and numerous nieces and nephews.
