Libby Ann Voss

Libby Ann Voss December 3, 1928 – November 2, 2014

Libby Ann Voss, 85, of Wilson, formerly of Winston-Salem, passed away Sunday.

Libby was born in Winston-Salem on December 3, 1928, the daughter of the late Alex and May Voss. She joined RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company after graduating from RJ Reynolds High School. She retired after 37 years as the Executive Assistant to the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Reynolds Industries.

In addition to her parents, Libby was preceded in death by her sisters, Doris Voss Shore and Betsy Voss Peace.

Libby is survived by her nieces, Pam Paul and husband, Ray of Wilson, Betsy Pierce and husband, Rick of Lenoir, and Laura Peace of Winston-Salem; one nephew, Richard Peace III and wife, Connie of High Point; two great-nieces and three great-nephews; and one great-great-niece and one great-great-nephew.

A service to celebrate Libby’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2014, in the Chapel of Centenary United Methodist Church, 646 W. 5th St., Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends immediately following the services at the church.
