Lila Gray Alford Taylor February 4, 1940 – June 30, 2018 Lila Gray Alford Taylor, 78, of Bailey passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018. Her funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey. The Rev. Walter Blackman will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday from 5 – 6:45 p.m. prior to the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of Danny and Wendy Taylor. Lila was a devoted mother, loving grandmother, faithful wife and simply a good woman with an extraordinary giving spirit. Lila is survived by her sons, Alton Taylor of the home, and Danny Taylor and wife, Wendy of Sims; grandsons, Benjamin and Seth Taylor, and her sister, Ellen Bostic of Greenville. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-one years, Fred Taylor; grandsons, Adam and Bryan Taylor, and sisters, Ruth Piner, Mildred Pierce, and Christine Davis.
