Lillian Estelle Evans Mercer April 13, 1926 – May 17, 2015 Lillian Estelle Evans Mercer, 89, of Wilson passed away Sunday. Her funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Johnny Sullivan will officiate. The family will receive friends 6 – 8 p.m. Monday evening at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of her daughter, Janie Cockrell. Estelle is survived by her daughter, Janie Mercer Cockrell and husband, Philip of Wilson and her sons, Claude Allen Mercer of Nash County and Donald Ray Mercer and wife, Vikki of Goldsboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Allen Mercer, Sr.; her son, Marvin Earl Mercer, three sisters and one brother.
