Linda Garris

Linda Thigpen Garris, 76 of Wilson passed away Thursday.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Daniels Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, Wilson.  Interment will follow in Stantonsburg Town Cemetery, Stantonsburg.  Rev. Josh Preskitt will officiate.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1 – 1:45 at Daniels Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 4828 Frank Price Church Road, Wilson and other times at the home.

Linda is survived by her husband, Johnny L. Garris; son, Andy Garris and wife, Martha of Four Oaks; granddaughter, Courtney Garris Adams and husband, Luke of Four Oaks; brother, Danny Thigpen of New Jersey, and several nieces, nephews, and special friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Inez Thigpen, and her brothers, Roy Thigpen, and Larry Thigpen.
