Linda Joanne Smith Stainback, 70 of Elm City passed away Sunday.  A memorial service will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Friday at Joyner’s Funeral Home.  The Rev. Ray Wells will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her.  She was loved and will be greatly missed.  Linda worked at Wrangler, Inc. for over 20 years. Linda is survived by her husband of 49 years, Joseph “Joe” Garland Stainback; her daughter, Angela Jo Williams and husband, Kevin of Fuquay Varina; her son, Joshua Glen Stainback and wife, Cassie of Clayton; her granddaughters, Amanda Jo Williams and Emily Stainback; her grandson, Logan Williams and her sister, Kay S.
