Linda Sheryl Lane Hill

Linda Sheryl Lane Hill October 30, 1947 – January 7, 2020 Linda Sheryl Lane Hill, 72 of Wendell passed away Tuesday. A celebration of life will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. The Rev. Wayne Whitley will officiate. The family will receive immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson and other times at the home of her mother, Mary Olive Lane. Linda was a hairstylist for over fifty years working in Wilson, Raleigh and Wendell. She was instrumental in opening Mitchell’s Hair Salons in Raleigh on Lake Boone Trail in 1976. Linda then went on to open her own salons before retirement in 2015. Linda is survived by her daughter, Wende Cooke Eatmon and husband, Blake of Wilson; son, Brooks Williams and wife, Stephanie of Wilmington; grandchildren, Parker Eatmon, Carson Eatmon, Braelyn Williams and Karlee Williams; her mother, Mary Olive Lane of Wilson; sister, Lisa Creech of Zebulon and her niece, Mary Bette Sloan of Zebulon.
