Linda Wood Williford

Linda Wood Williford August 24, 1946 – December 23, 2017 Linda Wood Williford, 71, of Wilson passed away Saturday. Her funeral will be conducted at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. in Black Creek Town Cemetery. The Rev. Tommy Hagan will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening immediately following the service and other times at the home. Linda is survived by her daughters, Carol Walston Wagner and husband, Ron of Wilson, Judy Walston Aycock and husband, Randy of Lucama, Sandra Walston Draughan and husband, Carlton of Wilson, and Samantha Walston Hendricks of Wilson; fourteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; sister, Pat Strickland of Bailey; brother, Doug Wood of Bailey, and her former husband, and friend, James Glenn Williford. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Gail Walston; her parents, Oscar Charles Wood and Bessie Morgan Wood; her sisters, Becky Aycock, Joyce Ann Smith, and Nancy Womble, and her brothers, Dink Wood, and Buddy Wood.
