Lisa Tew Melton January 27, 1955 – May 28, 2019 Lisa Tew Melton, 64, of Wilson passed away Tuesday.  A celebration of Lisa’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.  Rev. Wayne Whitley will officiate. Family will receive friends Friday evening from 5 – 8 p.m. at the home of Eddie and Judy Abrams. Lisa is survived by her sons, Eddie Ray Abrams and wife, Judy of La Grange, Scott Abrams and wife, Elizabeth of Rocky Mount and Chadwick Abrams and wife, Jill of Wilson; daughter, Heather Abrams of Pinetops; eighteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Bobby Joe Tew of Efland, Finis Tucker and wife, Brenda of Pinetops and Philip Doughtie and wife, Hermalinda of Faulkland and sister, Laura Connie and husband, Thomas of Rocky Mount. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Harrison Tew and Peggy Dean Doughtie; son, Kenneth Abrams; brother, Tony Tew and sister, Hilda Boykin.
