Lloyd Ray Davis
October 11, 1932 – June 6, 2015
Lloyd Ray Davis, 82, of Wilson passed away Saturday. His graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 11 a.m. in Evergreen Memorial Park with Military Honors. The Rev. Tommy Hagan will officiate.
The family will receive friends Monday evening 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at the home of his daughter, Debbie.
He served his country honorably and faithfully with the US Army. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather that was loved and will be missed.
Lloyd is survived by his wife, Juanita Mosley Davis of the home; his daughter, Debbie Brown and husband, Landis of Elm City; his sons, Larry Davis of Rocky Mount, Raymond Davis and wife, Wanda of Black Creek, and Lloyd Ray Davis, Jr. of Wilson; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Janie Davis Shirley; his parents, Seth and Smithie Davis and his sister, Ruby Davis Lamm.
