Lois Irene Bass

Lois Irene Bass September 30, 1946 – April 21, 2019 Lois Irene Bass, 72 of Stantonsburg passed away Easter Sunday surrounding by her loving family.  A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Black Creek Town Cemetery, Black Creek.  The Rev. Billy Bass will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Lois worked at the Grocery Store in Wilson.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all who knew her.  Lois will be missed and thought of often with memories that will bring smiles. Lois is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, Bruce Bass; daughter, Terry Wall and partner, Todd Smith of Stantonsburg; son, Jody Bass of Greenville; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
