Lois Faye Stancil Barfield April 21, 1944 – December 30, 2019 Lois Faye “Sissy” Stancil Barfield, 75 of Lucama passed away Monday at home surrounded by her family. Her funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Springhill Church Cemetery, 7335 Springfield School Road, Lucama. The Rev. Jasper Renfrow will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 – 6:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of her son, Chris. Lois is survived by her husband, Joseph Clifton “J.C.” Barfield of the home; daughter, Rhonda B. Davis of Lucama; son, Joseph Chris Barfield and wife, Christy of Lucama; granddaughter, Courtney Barfield of Lucama; grandsons, Clay Price and Joshua Connor Barfield both of Lucama; sister, Wanda Wilson and husband, Keith of Randleman and her brother, Kenneth Stancil and wife, Kim of Kenly. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Didy Edwards Stancil; sisters, Joyce Waddell and Erma Wiggs; brothers, Tom Stancil, George A. Stancil and Jimmy Stancil and her son-in-law, Benny Davis.
