Lonnie "LJ" Joseph Walston, Jr.

Lonnie “LJ” Joseph Walston, Jr., 64 of Wilson passed away Wednesday. Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson.  Rev. Johnathan Ange will officiate.

The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1 – 2:15 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

LJ loved his family deeply. He also loved to fish with close buddies, Allen, Tommy, and Big Willy.  LJ will also be greatly missed by his “brother of choice” since grade school, Andy Edwards and his fur babies, Diesel and Lilly will also greatly miss him.

LJ is survived by his wife of thirty-six years, Teresa Walston; daughter, Miranda Johnson and husband, Michael; sister, Teresa Brunett and husband, Lawrence, and his nephews, Nikolaus Brunett and Hunter Brunett.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Joseph Walston, Sr. and Barbara Walston.
