Lou Ellen Grimes June 27, 1935 – May 6, 2017 Lou Ellen Grimes, 81, of Stantonsburg passed away Saturday. Her funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson interment will follow in Eureka Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 2 – 2:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. Lou Ellen is survived by her loving husband of sixty-one years, Franklin Dee Grimes of the home; her daughters, Debbie Dail and husband, Louis of Farmville, and Sandy Cooper and husband, Gary of Kenly; her son, Dennis Grimes and  Ellie Johnson of Kenly;grandchildren, Shannon Hodge and husband, Larry, Ashley Landvater and husband, Jeremy, and Kelly Pittman and husband, Patrick, and great-grandchildren, Jordan and Bristol Hodge, Emily and Sam Landvater, and Maggie and Palmer Pittman.  Condolences may be directed to Joyner’s Funeral Home at www.joyners.net.
