Louise Bryant Measley

Louise Bryant Measley June 2, 1931 – March 1, 2016 Louise Bryant Measley, 84, of Wilson passed away Tuesday. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday in Hollywood Town Cemetery, Middlesex. The Rev. Buddy Wagnen will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday 1 – 2:15 p.m. prior to the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Louise is survived by her sons, Jerald Measley, and Thomas Measley both of Wilson; daughters, Emily Brantley of Manning, South Carolina, and Christi Chase of Goldsboro; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Eva Lamm of Rocky Mount, and JoAnn Bryant of Middlesex, and her brother, Jimmy Bryant of Zebulon. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Bud Measley.
