Lovelace Waddell Wooten, 73, of Wilson passed away Friday.  Funeral services will be held 6 p.m. Monday at Joyner’s Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday in Evergreen Memorial Park.  Brother Sam Cullifer will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday evening immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at the home. Waddell is survived by his wife, Peggy Wooten of the home; his sons, Tony Thorne and wife, Pam of Wilson and Timothy Thorne of Wilson; his granddaughter, Erin Thorne of Greenville; his grandson, Tyler Thorne of Wilson; his sister, Katheryn Walston and husband, Nelton of Wilson and his brothers; Walter Wooten and wife, Doris of Tarboro and Bobby Wooten and wife, Faye of Elm City.
