Lynn Lancaster December 24, 1932 – June 20, 2015 Lynn Lancaster, 82, of Kenly passed away Saturday. His funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Pikeville Cemetery, Mt. Carmel Church Road, Pikeville. The Rev. Gary Bailey will officiate. The family will receive friends 1 – 1:45 p.m. Tuesday prior to service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Lynn is survived by his wife, Shelba Combs Lancaster; his children, Kitzi Lancaster Bass, Rickey Bryant Lancaster and wife, Betty Evans, and Regina Lancaster Southerland and husband, Tom; his grandchildren, Justin Bryant Lancaster and wife, Kelly Head, Alan Michael Southerland, and Andrew Emerson Bass and wife, Anna Davis, and his siblings, Ray Lancaster, Peggy Rhew, Evangeline “Vanny” Grimes, Wade Lancaster, and Joan Kearney. He was preceded in death by his parents, Zeb Bryant Lancaster and Aileen Pate and his siblings, Mary Alice Hamm, Clifton “Skeet” Lancaster, Ralph Lancaster, and Zeb “Bee” Bryant Lancaster, Jr. Flowers are welcome although the family would like memorials in Lynn’s memory to Community Home Care and Hospice, 962 Highway 42 West, Clayton, NC 27520.
