Lynne Barnes Ballard January 14, 1953 – February 13, 2018 Lynne Barnes Ballard, 65, of Elm City passed away Tuesday. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Barry Drum will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 – 9 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of Chris, her son. Lynne is survived by her loving husband of forty-six years, Gaylord Ballard of the home; her son, Chris Ballard and wife, Tara of Elm City; her daughter, Emily B. Pate and husband, Jody of Bailey; grandchildren, Cole, Christopher, Josh, Will, John, Lauren, Ava, and Luke, and her brother, Ray Barnes and wife, Ellen of Virginia.
