Mae Bunn Howell, 97, of Bailey passed away Sunday.   Funeral services will be conducted 7 p.m. Tuesday at Joyner's Funeral Home.   A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bailey Town Cemetery.   The Rev. Charles Petit will officiate.

The family will receive friends Tuesday immediately following the service at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at the home of Carolyn Bissette.

Mae is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Bissette of Bailey; her granddaughters, Judy Hinton and husband, Doug of Bailey and Cynthia Batten and husband, Freddy of Kenly; her grandsons, Allan Howell of San Antonio, TX and Jeffery Howell of Wilson; her great-granddaughter, Shannon Sellers and husband, Anthony of Kenly; her great-grandson, Chris Batten of Kenly; her great-great granddaughter, Katlyn Hinton of Kenly; her great-great grandson, Scott Sellers of Kenly; her daughter-in-law, Edith Howell of Bailey and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Howell; her son, Freddy Howell; her son-in-law, Ronald Bissette; four brothers and one sister.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be directed to the Rock Springs Free Will Baptist Church, 11642 Camp Charles Road, Bailey, NC   27807.
