Mahala Williford August 8, 1945 – January 7, 2021 Mahala Williford, 75 of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, formerly of Wilson, North Carolina. A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. The Rev. Johnnie Hudson will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 14, 2021 evening from 6 – 6:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Mahala is survived by her son, Edward Tant and wife, Shannon, and granddaughter, Mary Grace Nofsinger and grandson, Andrew Sullivan Nofsinger of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina and son, Jeffrey Tant and wife, Judy and grandson, Collby Tant and granddaughter, Ava Tant of Greenville, North Carolina; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Williford, and her nephews, Alan Williford and wife, Melinda and Graham Williford both of Wilson, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Sallie Williford; sister, Janice Faye Gilleland and her brothers, Edward Williford and Gordan Williford.
