Mamie Skinner Winstead August 30, 1931 – November 10, 2017 Mamie Skinner Winstead, 86, of Wilson passed away Friday. Her funeral will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will following in Evergreen Memorial Park. The Rev. Steve Stephenson will officiate. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. Mamie is survived by her brother, Charlie Lee Skinner of Wilson; nephews, Rusty Flora and wife, Linda and their son Casey of Fountain, Greg Skinner and wife, Donna of Elm City, Keith Skinner and wife Terry of Elm City, and Ray Skinner and wife, Lisa of Stantonsburg; nieces, Sandy Skinner Yenner and husband, Dan of Raleigh and Kellie Skinner of Bailey; several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Leon Winstead; brother, Jimmy D. Skinner and sister, Delphia Skinner Galloway.
