Margaret Dean Davis November 28, 1972 – February 20, 2018 Margaret “Marlin” Dean Davis, 45, of Lucama passed away Tuesday. Her funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Farmington Heights Church, 910 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. LaVon Phillips will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 – 9 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Marlin was a loving wife, a wonderful and devoted mother, a great sister and a friend to all that knew her. She loved her Lord and celebrated him with her favorite verse, Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the plans, I have for you, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Marlin is with her Lord, but her love and memories will never leave the hearts of her family. Marlin is survived by her loving husband of nineteen years, James Derek Davis of the home; her wonderful sons, Caleb Nathaniel Davis, Luke Jeremiah Davis, and Aydin James Davis all of the home; her parents, Bobby and Margie Monroe Dean of Laurinburg; sisters, Barbara Fisher and husband, Rollan of Chicago, and Sarah Dean of Laurinburg; her brothers, Bob Dean, Jr. and wife, Kirsten, Raymond Dean, Micah Dean, and Noah Dean all of Laurinburg; her in-laws, Junior and Terry Davis of Lucama, and brother-in-law, Ty Davis and wife, Crystal. Flowers are welcome or memorials in Margaret’s memory may be directed to Farmington Heights Church, 910 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson, North Carolina 27896.
