June 15, 1928 – March 13, 2014

Margaret Emma Horton Huey, 85 of Wilson passed away Thursday.  A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Sunday at Joyner’s Funeral Home.  Pastor Eartha Butler will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all that knew her, she will be thought of often with joy and memories that will warm the heart. Her heart was full of love for dogs.  Margaret was retired from Wilson Medical Center. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Yvonne Bridgers and husband, “Bill” of Elm City; her son, William H. “Bill” Merrill, and wife, Brenda of Wilson; her six grandchildren, Keith Bridgers, Todd Bridgers, Michelle Hill, Christopher Merrill, Lisa Bridgers, Amanda Bridgers and her fourteen great-grandchildren.
