Margery Pope High, 95, of Wilson passed away peacefully Tuesday surrounded by lots of love.   Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday at Joyner’s Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.  The Rev. Gary Walling and Rev. Jack Chifford will officiate. The family will receive friends 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. Margery was a member of First Christian Church.  She graduated from Stantonsburg High School and Louisburg College.  Margery was retired from Wilson County Farm Agency and she worked thirteen years part time with the Wilson County bus garage. Margery is survived by her son, Arthur Thomas High, Sr. of Wilson; her grandchildren, Susan Dawn High of Arlington, Virginia, Trisha High Bundy and husband, Glen of Wilson and Arthur Thomas High, Jr. and wife, Erika of Raleigh and her great-grandchildren, Colby Bundy, Carmen Bundy, Diamond Bundy, Thomas High and Austin High. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Elton High and her son, Elton Leroy High.
