Margie H. Sullivan   Margie H. Sullivan, of Wilson passed away Friday, February 17, 2017 at UNC Medical Center, Chapel Hill. She left this earth looking forward to seeing her Lord and Savior. A celebration of her life will be held Monday, February 20, 2017 at 7 p.m. at the First Free Will Baptist Church, Wilson. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday morning in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson.  The Rev. Richard Cuddington and Rev. Dr. Billy Toler will officiate. The family will receive friends before the service from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. at the First Free Will Baptist Church, 4865 Nash Street NW, Wilson and other times at the home. Margie was born in Duplin County to Willie and Norma Herring. For ten years she was raised in the Middlesex Children’s Home where she learned biblical principles and how to face the future.  She was a graduate of Mount Olive College and was very successful in the administration field.  Margie enjoyed working for Disney in the Real Estate Development Division, New York Life Insurance, with Bobby Dunn, and the Thomas and Farris Law Firm.  She loved attending the First Free Will Baptist Church of Wilson.  Margie loved living life, but what brought her great joy was spending time with her husband, Michael. Margie is survived by her husband, Michael Sullivan of Wilson; her son, Christopher A. Matthews of Wilson; granddaughter, Lily Matthews of Wilson; brothers, James Jones and wife, Sandra, and Tommy Miller and wife, Belinda both of Beulaville; sister, Alice Hamler of Florida; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews; special friends, Othal and Rose Minshew, and her precious little dog, MiMi. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Ray Stanley, and Bobby Herring, and sisters, Evelyn Cass and Janet Ham.
