Marguerite B. Davis

Marguerite B. Davis August 27, 1924 – November 28, 2016 Marguerite B. Davis, 92, of Saratoga passed away Monday. Her funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. Pastor Mike Renfrow will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. Marguerite is survived by her children, Wanda Evans and husband, Bill of Lucama, James Albert “Jr” Davis and wife, Terry of Lucama, Bonnie Webb and husband, Yates of Stantonsburg, and Connie Newcomb and husband, Bruce of Saratoga; her grandsons, James Derek Davis and wife, Marlin of Lucama, Jacob Tyrone Davis and wife, Crystal of Lucama, and Bruce Anthony Newcomb and wife, Melannie of Saratoga, and her great-grandchildren, Caleb, Luke, Aydin, and Isabella. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Albert Davis, Sr. Flowers are welcome or memorials in Marguerite’s honor may be directed to Trinity Baptist Church, PO Box 1236, Wilson, North Carolina 27894.
