Marie H. Stokes

Marie H. Stokes March 17, 1928 – March 13, 2018 Marie H. Stokes, 89, of Wilson passed away Tuesday. Her funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Floyd Norris will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 10 – 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at 3611 Whetstone Place, Wilson. Marie is survived by her daughters, Bettie S. Fulcher and husband, Robert, Louise S. Pridgen, and Catherine S. Skinner and husband, Ronnie; her sons, Frank William Stokes and wife, Elizabeth, and Kenneth Clarence Stokes and wife, Blanca Pearla all of Wilson; her grandchildren, Susan Aliff, Stacie Poste, Jason Fulcher, Keith Pridgen, Scott Pridgen, Brian Skinner, Mary Sue Harrell, Brandon Stokes, Trevor Stokes, and Connor Stokes, and great-grandchildren, Tara Aliff, Hunter Pridgen, Jaden Pridgen, Ryan Pridgen, Dawson Pridgen, Josh Hines, Ty Skinner, Zachary Harrell, Graham Stokes, and Grady Poste. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Stokes; her parents, J.W. and Alice Riley Hawkins, and sisters, Lois Patricia High, Florence H. Taylor, and Johnna Faye Haynes.
