Marilynn Kaye Sexton

Marilynn Kaye Sexton, 69, of Wilson passed away on Wednesday, August 23.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 29 at 6:00 pm at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. 

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 29 following the funeral service.  Visitation will be other times at the family home in the days leading up to the service.

Marilynn is survived by her loving husband, John “Mike” Sexton; son, Jay Michael Sexton and his wife, Maggie and son, Walter of Wilson; son, John Gregory Sexton and Nikki Sexton of Wilson; sister, Darlene Cross VanNorman and husband Joe of Fremont; sister, Myrtle Cross Hamrick and husband, Martin of Cary; in-laws, Kay, JT, Carol, Coy, Yvonne, Milly, Linda, and Nancy; and many nieces and nephews.

Marilynn was preceded in death by her parents, Rachel and Jay Cross; her son, Charles Michael Sexton; sister, Brenda Cross Woodard; and.
