Marjorie Ruth Gardner Mooring December 3, 1924 – December 2, 2015 Marjorie Ruth Gardner Mooring formerly Wilson passed away Wednesday in New Bern. Her funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. Jay Mooring will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Wilma Dean Mooring of New Bern; her son, Alvin Epps Mooring and wife, Trudy of Georgia; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, and three brothers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard D. Mooring; her daughter, Deborah Jo Mooring; her sons, Ronnie Mooring and Johnny Mooring, one grandson.
