Marlene Dunn

Marlene Dunn, 87, of Wilson passed away Friday, January 10, 2025. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2025, in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. Rev. Craig Simmons and Rev. David Barnes will officiate. 

 The family will receive friends Monday evening, January 13, 2025, from 5 – 6:30 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

 Marlene is survived by her loving husband of sixty-seven years, Horace “Pete” Dunn; daughter, Tracy Duckworth and husband, Steve; granddaughters, Brennan Poythress and Kendall Edwards; great-granddaughter, Leyna-Ann Edwards, Araya Edwards, and Kamori Joseph; great-grandson, Cashdun Edwards; brother, James “Hardy” Eatmon; special niece, June Jenkins and a host of other nieces and nephews.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiley and Mamie Eatmon and her sisters, Lois Rowe, Patsy Jenkins, Louise Jenkins, and Romaine Yates, and her brother, Rudolph Eatmon.
