Marvin Lee Edmundson, Sr. September 30, 1934 – February 12, 2018 Marvin Lee Edmundson, Sr., 83, of Wilson passed away Monday. His funeral services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Thursday at Highland Independent Church, Wilson. The Rev. Tommy Hagan will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday evening following the service at Highland Independent Church, 2006 Patterson Way South, Wilson. Marvin is survived by his wife, Betty Carol Edmundson of the home; daughters, Deborah Shadding of Black Creek and Denise Johnson of Elm City; son, Marvin “Hoss” Edmundson, Jr and wife, Lisa of Emerald Isle; grandchildren, Misty Crabtree and husband, Drew, Mikey Sturkey, Brandon Chase Edmundson, Rhegan Barnette, Cole Garrett Edmundson, Jason Lucas and Caleb Ammons; five great-grandchildren; brother, Tom Edmundson of Lucama; sister-in-law, Sherby White, who he loved like a daughter; and extended family, Tommy Hagan; He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Lloyd and Della King Edmundson; step-mother, Annie Walston.
