Marvin “Mark” Leonard Collier
May 7, 1961 – June 3, 2020
Mark Collier, 59 of Rocky Mount passed away Wednesday. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 4 – 5:15 p.m. with his service following at 5:30 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. His nephew, Joshua Collier will officiate.
Mark was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and a friend to all that knew him. He was one of a kind and the kindest soul you would ever meet. He loved to fish and spend time outside. Mark was dearly loved and will be greatly missed and thought of often with memories that will bring a smile to your face.
Mark is survived by his loving wife of thirty-eight years, Cindy Collier of the home; daughter, Allison West of Wilson; son, Steven James Collier and wife, Amy of Wilson; granddaughters, Anna and Ava Collier both of Wilson; grandson, Dylan Moseley of Wilson; sister, Jackie Collier of Lucama; brothers, Danny Collier and wife, Aimee of Macclesfield, James Collier and wife, Terra of Selma, Lyn Collier and wife, Lynnie of Lucama and Chris Collier and wife, Bonnie of Lucama and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard “L.A.” and Jo Collier and his niece, Danielle Collier.
