Mary Agnes Davis Lamm

September 10, 1925 – November 9, 2013

Mary Agnes Davis Lamm, 88, of Sims passed away Saturday.  Funeral services will be conducted 7 p.m. Monday at Joyner’s Funeral Home.  Entombment will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson.  The Rev. Barbara Tyre will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday evening immediately following the service. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her.  A day will not go by that she is not missed and thought of with memories, smiles, tears and laughter that will touch the hearts of her loved ones. Mary is survived by her daughters, Jeannie Lamm Stallings and husband, Billy of Bailey and Amy High and husband, Greg of Wilson; her granddaughters, Gina Hazboun and husband, Sam of Wilson and Mary Kathryn High of Wilson; her grandsons, Thomas Stallings of Raleigh and Ryan High and wife, Clarissa of Wilson and her great-grandchildren, Ava and William Hazboun of Wilson, and Harrison High of Wilson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raleigh Bert Lamm; her parents, Charlie and Polly Davis; her sister, Reba Alford and her brothers, Claude, Louis and Lester Davis. The family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to her extended family at WilMed Nursing Home and WilMed Hospice for the excellent care, kindness, support and the love that she received while staying with them.
