Mary Bailey Holland

Mary Bailey Holland September 28, 1921 – May 16, 2015 Mary Bailey Holland, 93, of Wilson passed away Saturday. Her funeral service will be conducted 7 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Angel Padilla will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at the home. Mary was a member of the Cornerstone Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mary is survived by her son, James Patrick “J.P” Holland and wife, Daphine of Wilson; her granddaughters, Marika Mercer and husband, Dennis of Bailey and Tonya Holland of Bailey; her great-granddaughter, Kayla Mercer of Bailey and fiancé, Ross Johnson of Snow Hill; her great-grandson, Ryan Mercer of Bailey; her sisters, Rebecca Tyndall of Snow Hill and Fannie Winstead of Wilson, and her daughter-in-law, Margie Holland of Bailey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Lee Holland; her daughter, Judy Lee Holland; her son, Billy Ray Holland, and parents, Jesse Frank Bailey and Mattie Lee Morgan Bailey.
