Mary Joann Tillman Matthews, 50, of Wilson passed away Saturday.  Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Thursday at Farmington Heights Church of God, 910 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.  A graveside will be held 11 a.m. Friday in Maplewood.  The Rev. LaVon Phillips and Rev. Tim Hurt will officiate. Mary is survived by her daughter, Jessica M. Matthews of Greenville; her sons, Mark Thomas Matthews of Virginia and David Michael Matthews of Wilson; her sisters, Nancy Dasenbrock of Oregon, Patricia Finehart-Miller of Oklahoma and Ruth Denmark of Florida; her brother, David Sohns of Florida and her step-mother, Naomi Tillman of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Tillman and Virginia Devlin Tillman and her sister, Cheryl Hubbard.
