Mattie Lee Warrick Pittman Jordon November 5, 1929 – February 12, 2018 Mattie Lee Warrick Pittman Jordon, 88, of Wilson passed away Monday. Her funeral service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Thursday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. The Rev. Billy Ruffin, Jr. will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday evening immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Mattie is survived by her daughters, Mary Ann Webb of Wilson, Judy Carol Turnage of Wilson, and Etta Mae White of Douglasville, Georgia; her son, Ernest Lee Pittman of King; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ernest Pittman, and Stephen Franklin Jordon, and her sisters, Bertha Mae Perry, and Eloise Bone. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials in Mattie’s honor to the Sudan Shriners Hospital for Children, 403 East Front Street, New Bern, North Carolina 28560.
