Maurice Marie Hudson

Maurice Marie Hudson February 3, 1949 – October 1, 2021 Maurice “Marci” Hudson was born on February 3, 1949 in Celina, Ohio to Eugene Dull and Lorna Griffis Dull. She departed this earthly life to gain her eternal rest on October 1, 2021, at her home near Bailey. Marci graduated from Blue Creek High School, Haviland, Ohio in 1968. She attended Campbellsville College from 1985 – 1988. She attended nursing school in 1992. Marci traveled with her close friend, Sue Coon as an evangelist and puppeteer in the 1980’s. In 2002 they moved to North Carolina, buying a dog breeding and grooming business. Marci was the breeder, and Sue was the groomer. Marci retired in early 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Lorna Dull; brothers, Jack Dull and Steve Dull, and her sisters, Lori Dull Matthews and Diana Dull Stoller. Marci is survived by her brother, Rick Dull. Cherished memories are left to her best friend of forty-five years, Sue Coon; friends, Ellen Robinson of Apex, Brenna Turner of Apex, and her family friend, a true sister in Christ, Rosalyn Knight of Bailey, and her hospice nurse, Diana Worrells of Tarboro. God looked around His garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face. He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest. God’s garden must be beautiful; He always takes the best. He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb. So, he closed your weary eyelids and whispered, “Peace be thine.” It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone, for parts of us went with you the day God called you home.
