January 16, 1947 – October 26, 2013

Michael James Leach, 66, of Wilson passed away Saturday.  A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday at Joyner’s Funeral Home.  The Rev. Rusty Russell will officiate.   The family will receive friends Sunday following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of Amy and Fred Whitener.   Michael is survived by his sons, Michael Leach of Gloversville, NY and Aaron Leach of Myrtle Beach, SC; his daughters, Amy Whitener and husband, Fred of Wilson and Jillanne Mattioni of Gloversville, NY; two granddaughters and three grandsons.   He was preceded in death by his wife, Joy Leach and his parents, James Owen Leach and Jean Audrey Cook Leach.
