Michael “Mike” John Farenga, 44, of Lucama passed away Thursday, July 4, 2024. A celebration of life will be held Friday, October 11, 2024 from 5 - 11 p.m. Friday, at the Elm City Train Depot, 101 West Nash Street, Elm City. The Action Jaxxon band will perform.
Mike was an electrician, and he made many friends during his time working. He was a member of the ENC Villains, Honorary Queen City Villain, Honorary North Georgia Villain, and Honorary Richmond Villain. Mike was a loving husband, father, brother and friend to all who knew him, and he will be greatly missed.
Mike is survived by his loving ole lady of thirteen years, Julia Valdiviezo Farenga; daughter, Kensley Farenga; red-headed stepchild, Cassidy Dail; Carlos Valdiviezo, who he looked up to as a father; brothers, Carlos Valdiviezo, Jr. and wife, Candie of Fremont, and Adrian Valdiviezo of Black Creek; sisters, Noel Valdiviezo-Lopez and husband, Victor of Black Creek and Terri Farenga of Lucama, and seven nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Patricia Farenga.
The family would like to give thanks and express their love, gratitude, care, to the “Chemo Girls” and Dr. Lerro with Regional Medical Oncology Center in Wilson. Special thanks to Hospice of Wilson for all of their compassion and always being there.
