Michael Allen Taylor

Michael Allen Taylor June 11, 1963 – December 27, 2015 Michael Allen Taylor, 52, of Rocky Mount, passed away peacefully at Vidant Medical Center on Sunday, December 27, 2015, with his family at his side. Mike was born June 11, 1963 in Rocky Mount to Earl Taylor, Sr. and Anne Tolston Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mike graduated from South West Edgecombe High School and Edgecombe Technical School. Mike loved his family, motorcycle, sports, and his three dogs. Mike is survived by his brother, Earl Taylor, Jr. and his wife, Cherie of Wilson; sister, Linda Taylor Rhodes and husband, James of Greenville; nephews and nieces, Jake, Luke, and Anne Miller Taylor, and Kelsey, Caroline, and Will Rhodes, and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends in Mike’s memory from 2 – 4 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Condolences may be directed to www.joyners.net.
