Mildred Pearson Raper

Mildred Pearson Raper November 24, 1924 - November 16, 2018 Mildred Pearson Raper of Lucama passed away Friday. Her funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in the Raper Family Cemetery, St. Mary’s Church Road, Lucama. The Rev. Tommy Hagan will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at the home. Mildred is survived by her sons, William Raper, Kenneth Raper, and Donnie Raper and wife, Joyce all of Lucama; her grandchildren, Dennis Raper, Jason Tomlinson, Susan Raper, John Raper and Kenny Raper; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and her brother, Joe Pearson and wife, Alice of Lucama.
