Minnie Hendricks Moncrief
March 15, 1946 – October 4, 2018
Minnie Hendricks Moncrief, 72, of Wilson passed away Thursday. Her funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in in Macclesfield Cemetery, Macclesfield. The Rev. Johnny Hendricks and Rev. Chris Harris will officiate.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the family home.
Minnie is survived by her daughter, Deborah K. Outlaw and husband, Brad of Macclesfield; her son, Gray Rodriquez and wife, Kathy of Wilson; grandchildren, Harleigh Dryman and husband, Shane, James Albert Rodriquez and wife, Petra and Steven Gray Rodriquez and wife, Sierra; great-grandchildren, Charlie Walston and Sophie Maria Rodriquez; her sisters, Sue Summerlin of Fountain, Maggie McLaughlin of Columbia, South Carolina, Callie Saunders of Gainesville, Georgia, Janice Davis of Stantonsburg, Edith Edmundson of Fountain, Betty Dail and husband, Morris of Wilson, Katie Moore and husband, Bob of Elm City and Margaret Harrell and husband, Bill of Fountain; her brothers, Frankie Hendricks of Fountain, Billy Hendricks and wife, Ethel of Stantonsburg, Reece Hendricks and wife, Kay of Ernul, Johnny Hendricks and wife, Mary of Elm City and James Hendricks and wife, Cindy of Fountain and a loving host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence R. Moncrief; grandson, Jacob Rodriquez; parents, Albert and Blonnie Wheeler Hendricks; her brother, A.C. Hendricks; nieces, Cindy Hendricks and Janie Summerlin and her nephews, Benji Edmundson and Douglas Saunders.
