Minnie Louise Parker, 72, of Rocky Mount passed away Saturday.  A Funeral service will be conducted 7 p.m. Tuesday at Christian Fellowship Church, 7814 S. NC Hwy 58, Elm City.  A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hollywood Cemetery, Middlesex.  The Rev. Daniel Parker will officiate.

 The family will receive friends 6 – 6:45 p.m. Tuesday evening prior to the service at Christian Fellowship Church, Elm City. Minnie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all that knew her.  She will be greatly missed and thought of often with memories that will warm the heart. Minnie is survived by her husband, Albert “Sonny” Parker of the home; her children, Ida Louise “Lou” Ballance and partner, Rodney; Bobby “Sam” Ballance; Henry “H.E.” Edwin Lewis; Wiley “Joe” Lewis and partner, Stephanie and Kitty Jane Wall; her twenty grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded death by her daughter, Deborah “Debbie” Marie Crumpler. Condolences may be directed to www.joyners.net.
