Miriam Howard Landing

Miriam Howard Landing May 25, 1932 – March 12, 2020 Miriam Howard Landing, 87 of Wilson passed away Thursday. Her funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Ken Wagnon will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1 – 1:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of her daughter, Gail Garris. Miriam is survived by her daughters, Jackie Bass of Elm City and Gail Garris and husband, Danny of Wilson; granddaughters, Amie Whitehead and husband, Will of Wilson and Tracy McKeel and husband, Jarrod of Walstonburg; grandsons, Mitch Bass and wife, Kim of Elm City and Jason Bass and wife, Jan of Kentucky; eight great-grandchildren and her sister, Mamie Ruth Overby of Elm City.
